1. How did the shoot go?- The shooting of the film went well and fitted in well with the chosen mis en scene however we encountered some problems when filming outside because of the noise of the trafic and wind playing over the voices at some points, to overcome this problem in the secrtion with the speaking we voice overed since we did not have the technology to cut out background noise. As a team we worked ok but had the tendency to much about so the filming time took longer than exected.
2. The footage we shot was avergae footage because obviously we do not have top quality cameras and lighting like you see in the films. i think some areas could have been filmed better with some more over the shoulders shots raher than medium long shots, and all filming is continued by the rules of continuity.

Location Recce
Risk Assesments
Wires- wires can be a hazard when filming becuase they are a trip hazrd, a wire could also be in filming which would obviosuly ruin the filming.
Plug sockets- theses can be a hazard if someone is trying to plug something in that doesnt fit or if someone is using it withwet hands
Fire Doors-fire doors that could be located neer the filming set will have to be kept closed at all times for health and safety reasons.
Mise-en-scene description
Washing machine- will be used in shot four.
Table- Scott will be sitting at it when Jack walks into the room
Washing powder- will be given to Scott from Jack
Chairs- Scott will be sitting when Jack enters the room.
Envelope- Scott will give it to Jack and it will contain the money to pay for the washing power
lighting- the windows will provide the lighting
lighting- the windows will provide the lighting
costumes- All the cast will be wearing normal 6th form attire, because the scenes are all set in the day when the characters would be at school. this may include a tie, a shirt and trousers.

Jump cut
A jump cut is a filming edit which is in two sequential shots of the same subject, which are taken from two different camera positions that vary only slightly. This will make the subject in the shot appear to “jump” positions in an irregular way. Jump cuts are used vividly, to suggest the cogitations or inconsistencies of a character.
Over-the-shoulder shots
An over-the-shoulder shot is a shot which gives the view the character’s point of view but the shot will also include part the characters head in the shot. This shot is generally used for dialogue exchange. The shot will include head and shoulders of the speaker in the background, also with the shoulders and back of head of the listener in the foreground.

point of view shots
A point of view shot is a short film scene that shows what a character is looking at. It is normally a character looking at something, so that the person watching it can image they are the person pictured.(P.O.V shot)

continuity means that when you edit the shot it edits it so the shot all flows properly. for example in one shot if someone had a green hat on in one shot and the camera then swayed to the other angle and the person is wearing a red hat then this would not count as being continuous.
